It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both the engines can come with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The Trailhawk only comes with four-wheel drive. The base engine has a fuel economy of 27 mpg combined with 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The 2.4-liter has a fuel economy of 25 mpg combined with 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway for front-wheel drive. The four-wheel drive has a fuel economy of 24 mpg combined with 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. When the Trailer Tow package is added, it can tow up to 2,000 pounds.

Design of Jeep Renegade

The Renegade can fit up to five passengers. The SUV comes in four trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. There are so many features available in the Renegade. The base trim, Sport, has 16-inch wheels, keyless entry, power windows and locks, push-button start, cloth upholstery, a driver information display, and a four-speaker sound system with an auxiliary jack. The top trim, Trailhawk, which is an off-road theme, comes with four-wheel drive, a raised suspension, hill descent control, under-body skid plates, tow hooks, 17-inch wheels, a full-size spare, premium cloth upholstery, a removable cargo floor panel, and all-terrain tires. So many of the features on the top trims can be added to the lower trims. Also, a package can be added that includes a 6.5-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, Uconnect Access, and HD radio.
