The Jeep Gladiator is trail rated®, meaning that it has passed many rigorous tests to prove that it can handle challenging terrain. That said, it's sole purpose is meant to be able to handle tough jobs. Especially the Mojave as it was designed for sand and deserts specifically. This of course includes rugged terrain. The Wrangler is also trail rated, but it's off roading capabilities are vastly different in comparison to the Gladiator. The Wrangler features a smaller body with superior crawl ratios. This makes it perfect for challenging trails and technical terrain. In short, both of these 4x4 options are great depending on the off-roading experience you're looking for.

Interior & Comfort

The Jeep Gladiator offers a spacious cabin that includes for legroom when compared to the Wrangler. However, the Wrangler has more passenger rear space and is more focused on rugged durability due to it not having a truck bed. Both are stellar choices that also have modern technology features like a touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone integration that feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and premium Audio.

Fuel Efficiency

The Gladiator has great fuel efficiency in comparison to most mid-size pickups with a fuel economy around 16 to 16 miles per gallon. This of course is bound to change in comparison to when it is towing or doing a great deal of off-roading. The Jeep Wrangler averages about 17 to 22 miles per gallon, and just like the Gladiator, its fuel efficiency may take a hit when a lot of towing and off-roading is involved. However, because it is also smaller, it's fuel efficiency will be better in comparison to the Gladiator.

Utility & Hauling

Both the Gladiator and Wrangler can both tow, In this case, the Jeep Gladiator is going to be the best when it comes to hauling around larger equipment. With Wrangler's max towing capacity being around 3,500 pounds, that would be enough to tow lighter trailer and small boats. However, Gladiators have a towing capacity of 7,650 pounds. This make's it great for hauling trailers, boats, and other heavy gear.

Daily Driving

When reviewing which of these options are best for daily driving, the Jeep Wrangler is the best choice due to its smaller size, fuel efficiency, and cargo space. The Gladiator is a great option to, as it's heavier frame may prove to be more comfortable to passengers. when it comes to practicality, the Jeep Wrangler is the best choice by far for daily driving.
