12 Packing Hacks  Â
1. Insert stud earrings into the button holes of your shirt buttons to keep them from getting lost.Â
2. Thread your necklaces through straws to prevent tangling.Â
3. When packing dress shirts and belts for your next trip, save space and protect the collar by wrapping the belt into a small circle and placing inside the collar of the shirt. Your collar won't be flattened when you unpack.Â
4.Protect breakables such as glass fragrance bottles by slipping them into socks before packing them.Â
5. If you are packing a few pairs of shoes into your suitcase, you won't have to worry about dirt or germs from the bottoms of your shoes getting on everything inside your suitcase with this easy hack. Grab an inexpensive shower cap and put your shoes inside the cap before you pack.Â
6. Don't hurt yourself when packing or unpacking your razor by securing the end of your razor with a binder clipÂ
7. Use an empty prescription bottle to hold tweezers, small grooming scissors, nail clippers, or Q-tips.Â
8. To save on space, roll your clothes rather than folding.Â
9. If packing for kid try this hack. For each day of your trip, lay out your child's entire outfit- include underwear, socks, and hair clips or bows. Pack each outfit, in its entirety in a plastic Ziplock bag. This will cut down on packing too much, losing small pieces, and will help you keep your suitcases organized.Â
10. If you are getting ready right before you leave and you are using a curling iron or a flat iron, wrap each in an old oven mit or pot holder. It will protect the contents of your suitcase from being burned and you can pack and go.Â
11. Put a cotton ball or cotton pad in your powder makeup to keep it from breakingÂ
12. Fill an old contact case with your foundation or any other liquid makeup.
